1965 Ford Mustang

The winner for the March 2019 Ride of the Month is Sam from Pennsylvania and his 1965 Ford Mustang. The car is Sam’s pride and joy and is using a Master Power Brakes complete Legend Series Front Disc Brake Conversion Kit.

ROTM -March-2

Sam has owned this car for twenty-nine years. Unfortunately for Sam, it has taken twenty-four of those years to get it out on the road. As fellow hot rodders, we feel your pain.

According to Sam, one of his favorite things to witness is when a young kid looks at his car and says it looks like a ‘Hot Wheel’ and wants their picture taken next to it. Everyone enjoys taking their pride and joy to a car show or cruise-in and at his first car show two years ago, Sam won first place in the early Mustang class. Congrats for sure!! When he isn’t at a car show, Sam can be found enjoying his Mustang as he drives it regularly. For more driveability, Sam installed one of our Legend Series Power Disc Brake Conversion Kits along with some upgraded steering by way Borgeson to create a much more fun and safer drive.

As with most classic cars, Sam’s Mustang is a work in progress. He hopes to one day return it to its original color of springtime yellow but for now, he is just ‘enjoying the heck out of it.
