This month’s Ride of the Month belongs to a local customer by the name of Richard Mead. Needing some work performed on his 1971 Chevrolet C-10 recently, Richard dropped his truck off at Hughes Automotive in Charlotte, NC. Glenn and his shop are a general automotive repair shop but have a great reputation in the area for working on and servicing old cars and trucks.
Bigger & Fancier
Needing some brake work done on the truck along with the truck having a big set of wheels, Richard and Glenn decided something bigger and flashier was in order and gave us a call. We decided to go with a complete front and rear Pro Driver Series brake system for the truck along with a freshened up apply system as well. Richard now has a truck that not only has a much improved look behind those big 20” wheels but he also has the confidence to jump out in Charlotte traffic and not have to worry about all of the crazies on the road.
